Co-op (cooperative) advertising is a partnership between the auto brand at the national level and the individual local car dealers. Co-op advertising can be lucrative as it allows for manufacturers and dealers to reach their target markets.

This means typeface, color palettes and brand marks must all meet manufacturer guidelines in order for your claim to be approved by co-op.
Co-op also has serious, no nonsense deadlines, and strict requirements for how to submit each reimbursement claim. Most co-op programs require many secondary documents when submitting a claim. For example, TV claims must include notarized scripts. Google AdWords claims often must include keyword reports and a Google invoice.
